Eunate Torres-Modrego is an Architect trained at Madrid ETSAM (SPAIN) and the IAUG at the University of Geneva (SWITZERLAND), where she graduated with a Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture.

In 2008, after 10 years based in Switzerland, Eunate Torres-Modrego founded "ATELIER DE PAISAJE" in the Basque Coast (SPAIN), a SITE / ART / LANDSCAPE Architecture Experimental Film Research Studio & Artist-in-Residence School Program which main purpose is to introduce the Landscape critical thinking movement in Architecture Schools, developing a new set of representation tools and working processes interacting with particular sites through an approach that goes beyond the boundaries of the discipline of landscape architecture, and maybe even beyond the notion of discipline as such.

Since 2012 "Atelier de Paisaje" is part of the Network of Teaching and Research with The European Council of Landscape Architecture Schools (ECLAS) in partnership with Fiuni School of Architecture and Design, Stavanger (NORWAY).
Previous collaborations between Universities and Atelier de Paisaje: Faculty of Landscape Architecture, University of Manitoba, Winnipeg (CANADA), Latvia University of Agriculture (LATVIA), Landscape Architecture and Urban Design, Bilking University (TURKEY), Architecture University Piloto Bogota in (COLOMBIA), Kunsthal School of Design (SPAIN), etc.
